“Overcrowded” – aerospace over Taguig City, 07 April 2017

what folly
is this:
towers
higher than
church spires
edifices
grander than
palaces
or cathedrals
everything
a tribute
to the
egos
of men.

i spit
on
i curse
at
i mock
your petty
glories!

building higher
forging stronger
structures
that dare
challenge
the very
heavens –
but foolish
pride
comes before
a brutal
fall:
for what
are these
but
whitened tombs
holding
foul corpses
decaying
with vice
with corruption
with evil.

remember:
we are
but dust
and to
dust
we will
return.
