“In Bloom” – Taguig, 17 January 2017

as winter
marches on
whispering
sweet promises
of spring
and the
cherry
and the
almond
put out
buds
in the
frost,
let me
whisper
a wish
into the
cold wind
that the
seasons
might bring
you
my love
closer
and that
it may
warm you
nourish you
cherish you
wheresoever
you
may roam.
