“Fallen” – Muntinlupa, 15 October 2016

what
happens when
stars
fall to
earth
and they
lose
their way?

do they
take on
mortal guise
and wander
among us
alongside us
hand in
hand
with us
in the
mundane world;
do they
scream
with the
howling
of the
winds
as the
storm rises;
do they
explode
and disappear
into nothingness,
the dread
oblivion
of death
and decay?

i’d like
to think
they walk
with us…

i think
that explains
us:
two stars
fallen to
earth
trying to
find
our way
back home
together.
