“Which Way Does the Wind Blow?” – Bulacan, 27 May 2016

stand alone
against
the world
against
the many
and bravely
carve out
a spot
yours alone.

stand firm
in the
face
of the
odds;
shout your
defiance
at the
false gods
at the
blandishments
of men.

hold your
ground
against all
foolish pride
rumour upon
blasted rumour;
against the
whispered malice
of your
foes.

stand alone
come out
shining;
afraid of
nothing
mere mortals
hurl at
you.

be strong
be brave
be true
be golden.
