“Please, Mister Postman” – Bulacan, 27 May 2016

someday:
i’ll live
in a
house
with a
white
picket fence
in a
quiet
old neighbourhood
where
no one
is ever
unhappy.

my tears
will stop,
my sighs
will cease,
my pain
will grow
less
and less
with the
passage
of time.

and maybe –
just maybe –
i can
find
the peace
the love
the home
the calm
the hope
i’ve always
yearned for.
