“Encapsulated Dreamcatcher” – Muntinlupa, 17 May 2016

don’t hide
your dreams
away
in silver
boxes
in velvet
bags
left to
moulder
left to
fade
in the
dusty attics
in the
cold cellars
of your
mind.

set them
free
cut them
loose
let them
gain flesh
and blood
and form;
let them
live.

for living
dreams
can nurture
what hopes
we have;
and living
dreams
in the
waking world
show us
how good
how dear
how loved
we are
even when
we face
the darkest
shadows,
the grimmest
spectres.

let them
soar
let them
fly;
let them
flutter and
flow and
swirl around
you;
let them
live.
