“Marcelo Fernan Bridge (detail)” – Cebu, 13 April 2016

crossing bridges
from then
to now,
changing
with each
step
with every
move
nothing in
its place
as it
as we
keep shifting.

bridges built
between hearts,
bridges burned
between souls:
we are
forever
building up
tearing down
cementing
torching
if need
be
between ourselves.

and we
keep crossing
bridges
to go
places
to meet
others
to seek
destinies
in seeming
perpetuity.
