“Swirling” – Makati, 29 March 2016

thoughts all
in a
tangle
swirling
whirling
twisting
winding
maddening paths
in my
head;
welter of
bits and
pieces,
ideas and
notions
failing
to find
cohesion.

and i
throw down
my pen,
tear up
the page;
daring my
mind,
pushing my
hand
to start
the tale
once more,
hoping
against hope
my tale
will gain
shape,
retain form,
find an
ending
lest these
newborn words
die
in vain.
