“Christmas Just Flew By” – Magallanes, 23 December 2015

world

whizzing by

caught up

in the

mad frenzy

men call

life;

everything

running at

breakneck speed,

everything

is rushed

is rapidly

done.

but in

the haste

we forget:

we are

human,

we are

fragile,

we are

mortal.

caught up

in the

mad rush

to get

from a

to b,

to crush

others

on the

way

to the

top,

to get

ahead

we choose

to exist

but not

to live.
