i wish

you’d tell

me

whatever it

is

that nibbles

at you;

your silence

hurts.

i don’t

have

all the

answers

to your

questions;

i don’t

have

proper solutions

for your

problems;

i can’t

be the

one

to walk

your path –

lonely

though it

is –

for you…

but i

can be

there

with you

at your

side.

lord knows

i’m not

perfect;

lord knows

neither are

you:

but from

our shared

imperfection

some good

may come;

it can

work

if we

but try.

i may

not always

follow,

i may

often

beg to

differ,

i may

not always

be sunshiny

sweet;

but you

know

where to

find me.

i am –

i will –

i can

always be

there

when you

need me.

just call.
