(Farsi: ātashé del-am – “the fire of my heart”)

woo me

with the

sound

of your

voice,

and play

my heart

like a

lute;

strum my

inner strings

with a

melody

ours alone.

and i

intoxicate

your senses

with scent

with savour

with verses

mesmerising

heart and

soul;

a touch

to soothe

to tingle

to tempt.

and we

will find

ourselves

entwined

in more

than passion

or longing;

in love.
