Frustration / Anxiety

“Edible Blossom” – BGC, 19 August 2015

small nibble

sweetness

melting on

my tongue

like a

memory

fading fast;

as the

rain

turns the

skies

silvery gray

and my

tea

grows cold

and i

stare down

the words

before me.

words recalcitrant

refusing

to be

written

the way

i wish;

and i

dizzy with

frustration

slump and

sigh;

weary of

this toil,

my mind

spent

exhausted

virtually empty.

and i

sit back

take a

break,

wondering

where you

are

how you

are;

and i

pray

hope

wish

that you

are all

right.
