from afar

not so

silent

not so

secret…

still i

hold back.

alone

but not

lonely:

inspired

but lips

pressed

and tongue

silent;

letting

this pen

do all

my talking;

words

held back.

and so

it goes,

cariad,

as we

each go

out way:

i am

fettered

to this

desk,

but my

mind

wanders to

you

in waking

reverie.

and i

let my

pen

say these

words

i dare

not

give voice

lest,

cariad,

you be

lost.
