Frustration

“Someday” (draft stage) – BGC, 13 July 2015

a teardrop

blurs

the words

i’ve written,

obscuring

quickly scribbled

lines;

fatigue

frustration

ennui

setting in.

author aggrieved

burnt out

curtailed by

circumstances

both bizarre

yet commonplace.

will manage

somehow

to get

words written

points essayed

truths exposed

stories told;

but perhaps,

for now,

a little

rest

a wee

libation

to slake

thirsts

physical and

metaphysical

are necessary

and orpheus

must needs

give in

to morpheus

that balance

may be

restored

tears dried

and words

regain momentum.
