At First Light

“Dawn on the Horizon” – Tagaytay, 10 March 2015

faintest tints

of rose and

gold

peeking over

the

horizon.

breathing in

verdant breeze,

scent of coffee –

bittersweet, nutty,

smoky –

wafting through;

silent solitude

watching

sacred sunrise –

moment made

perfect,

stillness,

peace within.

the first faint

rays

are a

divine benison

upon all

who wake,

all who rise,

all who strive.

awake,

awake!

come alive

at first

light

and surge

into the

day.
