Beneath the Sparkle

“A World Sparkling” – Alabang Town Center, December 2014

I often

think as

i stare

at the

world

around me:

is it all

artifice?

smoke and

shimmering

mirrors

tricks of

light

playing with

mortal eyes

beguiling

deceiving

misleading;

a false

reality,

like we

were puppets.

live-action

punch and judy

show.

but the

lights

bedazzle the

senses

and we

go on

living

hoping

these illusions

are true

are dreams

given life.
