Cabinet of Memoirs Half-Forgotten

"Curios" - Makati, 04 February 2015
“Curios” – Bagtikan, Makati, 04 February 2015

incriminating evidence:

letters scribbled

on torn-out

sheets,

childish confessions,

innocent heartaches,

the first, nascent

twinges

of longing.

notebooks filled

with little

tales:

some drawn

from life;

others drawn

from the

shadows

within.

old photos;

scenes from a

long-ago

life;

yellowed with

age,

squirrelled away,

visual memoirs

of days

gone past.

too young to

know better then;

too old to

turn back now.

name-calling,

blame-game,

bitterness:

an ending.

close the

door;

put it all

away.

put your

hand

in mine;

start over.

make new

memories.
