A Healing Dark

“Linger” – Audrey Kawasaki, 2008

come hither,

sweet one;

come drown

in my gaze.

lose yourself

in pain

to find

yourself

in pleasure.

let me

see your

wounds

let my

touch

be a salve;

balm for

all grief,

soothing away

sorrow.

come hither,

sweet one;

come away!

let me

unfetter,

unshackle you

from the

bonds of

mundanity.

open your

eyes

your mind

heart & soul…

i am

the only

drug

you will

truly

need

to heal.
